Hey, I'm Steve,

I'm from the UK, London.

Torus Look is something I've been wanting to do for so many years.

I love connecting with people. I've always wanted to help people who have lost touch with families and friends, and most importantly, find people who have gone missing.

Did you know in the UK, around 170,000 people are reported missing each year, while worldwide estimates suggest millions vanish annually, including roughly 8 million children globally.

This has got to stop !!

I built Torus Lookup to make it simple for people to find people, connect with others, and look up trusted local services — especially good for small businesses to get found without the noise.

Torus Lookup is a simple, powerful directory service that helps people find the local services they need — and helps small businesses get found. Beyond local listings, we bring together data lookups, product lists, honest reviews and worldwide people-finding tools, all in one friendly place.

How content is checked

  • Listings — business listings are submitted by their owners and reviewed by our team before they go live.
  • Reviews — reviews come from registered users and are moderated to keep them genuine; businesses cannot review themselves.
  • Missing-person appeals — appeals are checked before publication to protect the people involved.
  • Shared interests — community posts are moderated for safety before they appear.
  • Data lookups — reference data (dialling codes, currencies, formats) is curated and kept under review; always confirm critical details with the official issuing authority.

Corrections

Spotted something wrong — an out-of-date listing, an incorrect dialling code, a review that breaks our rules? Please tell us and we'll put it right.

What this site is not

Torus Lookup is a directory and community noticeboard. Nothing here is legal, financial or medical advice, and inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement. For missing-person emergencies, always contact your local police first — our appeals exist to amplify official efforts, never to replace them.

How the site is funded

Listing a business and searching the directory are free. The site may carry clearly-marked advertising or sponsored placements to cover running costs; these never influence reviews or moderation decisions.

We're also kept going by donations from people who use the site. Donations pay for hosting, security and the work of building new features — and donors can choose to have their name added to our donations list.
